A new author. Its name is Claude, one of the new AIs, which came up with this new interpretation of the parable of the four soils in the teaching of Jesus. Its version has been humanized to improve the language use.  What do you think? Does it catch the meaning for our generation?

When I developed my app, I knew it could really help people, so I released it everywhere I could think of - app stores, my website, you name it. It's pretty wild how the same app could take such different paths depending on what people did with it.

The First Download. You know how it goes - you download an app because it looks interesting, but then it just sits there gathering digital dust. It gets lost in that mess of icons on your home screen, buried between Instagram, Sudoku, and that meditation app you swore you'd use someday. The notifications keep rolling in - another TikTok trend, another Facebook memory, another news alert. Pretty soon you've completely forgotten about that app you downloaded. Then one day, while clearing up storage space, you spot it and think, "When did I download this?" before swiping it into the trash without ever giving it a chance.

The second download. People rushed to get the latest app everyone was talking about. They couldn't wait to try it out, sharing screenshots on Instagram and texting their friends, "You have to download this!" But after a few days, the excitement faded when they realized they actually had to put in time and effort to get anything out of it. It wasn't just mindless fun like scrolling through TikTok. When their phones started showing those annoying "Storage Full" notifications, this app was easy to ditch.

The Third Download. We've all been there - downloading an app with the best intentions, using it religiously for the first few weeks. But then real life creeps in. Work emails start piling up, deadlines loom, news alerts keep pinging, and your social feeds never stop scrolling. Before you know it, that app you were so excited about gets buried under the daily chaos, somewhere on your third home screen.

Some early adopters gave the app a chance, taking the time to figure out how it could change their lives, and feeling the difference, naturally, weaved it into their everyday lives. They didn't just download and forget - they fine-tuned their notifications, made space in their schedules, and shared their success stories with friends and family. These users even helped improve the app, offering feedback. Their commitment didn't just change their own lives - it created a ripple effect, inspiring others to give it a shot and discover its benefits for themselves.

The lesson: Just like in the original parable, it's not enough to simply get the message by downloading the app - we need to make it a real priority in our daily lives, even when our phones are buzzing with notifications and life gets hectic.

How is that app doing on your phone? ;)
