Have you sought...
"I haven't found what satisfies me in life!" many cry, "Where is peace, where all I see is ruin!"
Have you sought?
"Where? There are so many theories about how I should live my life! Where is the truth?" Many less reply.
Have you sought the One?
"But those are all stories, aren't they?" the majority think out loud, and dig on, "What can these matter to me in my darkness?"
Have you sought the One who has shown us the way?
"That way, that kind of life can't be better, can it?" the once-wealthy reply, "I need so much more..." Then they turn away.
Have you sought the One who has shown us the way and given us all we need?
"But how can we know that it will be worth it?" a few of the survivors ask.
Have you sought the One who has shown us the way and given us all we need, by faith in His promises?
..."I guess I haven't sought... "Tell me more"... the seekers go on to ask. And, in time, believe.
The rest wander on in the dust of ruined lives.
