I hear the voice of the one I love, as he comes leaping over mountains and hills like a deer or a gazelle. Now he stands outside our wall, looking through the window and speaking to me.

Song of Solomon 2:8-10

The Lover of our soul comes…   What must we do to receive Him?

Do you have...

  • Ears trained on His voice?
  • Eyes looking for His coming?
  • Heart waiting for His presence?

Jesus is the Lover of our souls.  He seeks to speak to us, guide, protect, and nourish us.

It is this Jesus that you can know…

I have come that they have life, and have it to the full.

John 10:10

He is above all first person singular. Personal. You must choose to receive Him. He speaks to me, not just the group, not just others in the family of Christ.

All that stands in the way is the self. My will, right to decide, my hold on the wrongs I have done.   He is, as the verse says, outside the wall. He will not force His way in.

The Lord of my life is speaking to me... I know His voice. How much joy this brings!! Have you heard it?
