Watered Life, From Where? Norwegian Life Lessons: Water

Water drops endlessly from the mountain crown of fjords. But there is little snow left to drive those giant waterfalls, with their thousands of gallons pouring night and day without end.
So where is it from?
Water shapes this place and defines the life of its people. So again, where is it from?
And then I consider.
Where do I take my ‘water’ from? From where is the driving force of my life, the flow that means I ‘go’ and thrive?
Hidden springs bursting forth, rains and mists? Am I defined by overwhelming passion bursting through mere everyday existence?
His overwhelming Presence? Yes, I have known the joys, but…
Are my daily paths, leading in and out of family, work, and society, forced to make their way around this inner abundance of mine, as the roads around and through those fjords?
Are others meeting flow in my life? Are they meeting the Source of that flow?
Dare I ask for such? Or am I of more civilized joys, tempering the One within with my channeled streams or still wells?
Or have I long left the joys of white water magic, slowing their fall within, then watched as they trickled and dried?
I fear so.
I wear too weak the passion of my life, the Lord Who sustains my life but promises much more. Abundant life He promised.
And I settled for a glass of water here, a wash there.
Enough!
Gush forth, living Water! The dam is down.
