That's Me, the Child!
“See me take his hand? You see me walking with him? He talks all the time with me, plays with me, and helps me color my day. He is super! Do you know how super he is?” the child in me says.
Playing with our two grandchildren, my husband and I can see how the little ones appreciate 'hide and seek,' puzzles, story time with them, walks, and just our listening to them. Our Memory game sessions grow in discovery! Those two, at 5 and 3 years, win as often as not!
I imagine our heavenly Father enjoying us like that too. We come to spend time with him and work and play before him, he walks and talks with us, listens, and shares stories with us too. He enjoys our child-like faith just like we do with our two ‘cookie crunchers.’
That super ‘daddy’ is waiting to cherish each of his children. Have you spent time with him today?
If so, you know...
